Lisa graduated from Utrecht University in 2017. She obtained her master’s degree in liability law, with a focus on IP, advertising and privacy law, as she was immediately drawn to these areas of law. During her studies she co-founded the European Law Students’ Association Utrecht and was actively involved as a member of the Molengraaff Dispuut and the legal advice center in Utrecht. Lisa was admitted to the bar in 2018. She practiced intellectual property, privacy, IT and media law for several years at a major Dutch law firm in Amsterdam and at a specialised law firm in Utrecht. During this time, she completed the vocational training for advocates and the Law Firm School. Lisa joined Hoogenraad & Haak in 2022. She advises on all matters involving intellectual property, advertising, marketing and privacy law. In her spare time, Lisa likes travelling, running and portrait drawing.

Reviewing and drafting privacy policies, cookie policies and general terms and conditions for various (inter)national websites and web shops.
Advising various large supermarket chains regarding discount communications.
Advising an energy supplier on price communication and pre-contractual information obligations in the car charge point sector.
Assisting a company manufacturing and selling interdental hygiene products in a dispute regarding environmental and comparative claims made by one of its main competitors.
Drafting a "information leaflet" for marketers when advertising via social media platform(s) from a data, brand and platform safety perspective for a Dutch trade association for advertisers.
Advising various clients in the field of telecommunications and direct marketing.
Drafting and negotiating various voice-over and talent agreements.
Lisa has registered intellectual property as her principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
