Lisanne advises on various aspects of food law, advertising law and intellectual property (IP) law. Her eagerness to learn drives her to dive deeper into specialized fields such as food and advertising law and stimulates her to achieve the best results for her clients.
Lisanne obtained her Bachelor's degree in Law and Master's degree in Corporate Law from Leiden University. During her studies, her interest for intellectual property law and related fields grew. As a student, she gained experience at a trademark agency and a law firm specialising in IP. She has also worked as a student assistant at the intellectual property law department of Leiden University. Lisanne enjoys a challenge and decided to get her second master's degree in Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT at VU University Amsterdam.
In her spare time Lisanne enjoys travelling far. She also likes to admire and photograph (modern) architecture.

Legal advisor for advertising and food law questions for a European start-up in the food supplement sector.
Advising a large Dutch retail chain of household products on the use of advertising claims for plastic products.
Advising an international health product company on health and cosmetic claims and enforcement by Dutch supervisory authorities such as the NVWA and KOAG/KAG Inspection Board.
Assisting an international company in a dispute over trade mark and trade name rights.
Carrying out various label checks (control of food information) on foodstuffs, such as alcoholic beverages, pasta, sports bars and beverages.
Assisting a food supplement company in an administrative court procedure on a principle matter regarding the line between information and health claims.
Drawing up general terms and conditions, e.g. for promotional games of chance and promotions.
Advising on non-food products, such as the certification of building materials.
Lisanne has registered intellectual property as her principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
